How to get to Seville?

Heading off to a new place is always exciting, but with smaller cities like Seville, figuring out how to get there can be a bit tricky, right? We’ve all been there – planning a trip to somewhere that’s not a major international hub and then spending ages trying to figure out the best way to reach it.

Fortunately, there’s nothing to worry about – Seville is a major tourist destination and it’s very connected.

By air: Aeropuerto de Sevilla-San Pablo is the main international airport, located just 10 km (6.2 mi) from the city center. It’s well-connected with direct flights from major cities in Europe and around the Mediterranean.
By train: Seville’s main train station, Santa Justa, is actually one of the busiest stations in Spain (3rd in terms of passengers). Seville is really well-connected by train, so if you’re coming from places like Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, Málaga, or Granada, it’s super easy to get there.
By bus: Seville’s main bus station is called Plaza de Armas and it is located just west of the old town. It links the city with Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, Málaga, and Granada. The other bus station, El Prado, has connections with Cádiz, Jerez and Ronda.
By car: Seville is down in southern Spain, and it’s super easy to get to from other parts of Spain and even Portugal thanks to the highway network. You don’t need a rental car to get around the city itself, but if you’re planning to explore more of Andalucía, having one could be really handy.
