Practical information

Seville train station (Santa Justa)
Address:
Avenida Kansas City
Telephone: 902-432-343

(Be careful because calling phone numbers starting with 902 will cost you a fortune)

You can have a look at a complete map of Santa Justa.

The train station opens:
- Monday to Saturday from 4.30am to 1am of the following day.
- Sunday and Public holidays from 5.30am to 1am of the following day.

Renfe Spain information and sales telephone is 902-320-320 (Watch out, it's a phone number starting with 902 and it's expensive).

The ticket office is open from 6am to 10pm (if you intend to purchase a ticket for the same day) and from 8am to 10pm (if you want to buy a ticket for a future date). It is located at the main hall in front of the shops.

You can safely leave your stuff at the baggage consignment. It opens from 6 am to midnight and it's located in the right hand side of the main concourse, behind the sliding doors that lead to the platforms.

Apart from Renfe ticket office, you have 2 information offices next to the rent a car facilities. The first one is a tourist office of the regional government (Junta de Andalucia) that covers not only Sevilla but all Andalusia. And the second one is an INFHOR stall that provides information on accommodation, restaurants and leisure activities.

Getting to and from Santa Justa train station

Bus

You can reach the station taking the 28, 32, C1 and C2 buses. Additionally, there is a special bus (E4) that links the train station with the Seville airport. The E4 bus stop is towards of the front entrance, across the cab's line.

Your own car

Santa Justa train station is located in one of the main avenues of the city center so it's pretty easy to find it.

You have three parkings. One of them is an express parking, just for short stays and it's located in front of the main entrance. It's expensive though. The other two are located at each side of the main building. They always have a lot of free spots.

Car rental

If you are considering renting a car you'll find Avis, Hertz, National Atesa and Europcar offices inside the train station. Others are outside either towards the main building (Sixt) or across the street (AurigaCrown, which is my favorite, and PepeCar).

Taxi

The cabs are located in front of the main entrance. You'll have to pay a surcharge for travelling from the train station and an extra fee for each piece of luggage.

Seville receives a lot of foreigners every year and taxi drivers know it. They generally have a very bad reputation and I can tell so. They have tried to scam me more than once the minute they realize that I'm not from Seville (I have a different accent).

Please, make sure you know the exact address you are going to. Do some research in advance and spend some time in front of a map to get an idea of your route. If you can, provide some directions to the driver. At the end of the trip check the final fare and the change you receive!

I definitely NOT recommend taking a cab. Unless you are in a hurry or you have no other means of transport, avoid taking a taxi!

Train

The Cercanias is an intercity train link offered by Renfe. Spain and especially big cities are very well connected. In the case of Seville, it operates in 25 stations communicating several towns outside the city.
