Every time that I plan a trip one of the first things I do is to look for a map. I like to locate sights, monuments, bars and restaurants and even my accommodation (or potential one if I haven't made up my mind yet). I find that it's very important to get a glimpse of possible walking itineraries, know a bit more about distances (especially if it's a huge city).
Therefore, long before catching the plane I spend some time researching, printing and drawing lots of maps. It helps me to maximize my trip and have a better knowledge of the place I intend to visit.
Moreover, once I'm on the road I consider that a map is vital. Unless I have a friend or relative that will be my guide, I always carry a map in my backpack. If I find that having a map is particularly necessary, I even print it and laminate it to make it last longer.
In the case of Seville, you'll realize very soon that the city is pretty much a labyrinth, especially the center. And despite the numerous tourist offices and the fact that people are kind enough to provide directions, it's definitely easier to have a map of Seville with you.
Here you'll find a complete list of maps. I have created some of them with the help of Google Maps; they show the location of key and are ready for printing. But I have also included additional maps, usually in PDF format.
(You'll need Adobe Acrobat to view and print the PDF files. If you don't have this software you can get it here for free. Just download it and follow the instructions to install it.)
This map of Seville shows the most important monuments and sights of the city, as well as providing some extra information of every attraction. Apart from the address and phone number, if you click on the link inside you'll be directed to a page full of practical information and highlights of the sights.
Map: Seville's best tapas bars!
I have selected the top 10 tapas bars of Seville. In this list you'll find what I consider the best options to have a taste of some typical Spanish tapas as well as other delicatessen or even more elaborated dishes.
Moreover, I've added 8 additional tapas restaurants that I seriously recommend and that complement the previous list.Best flamenco shows in Seville
This map shows you the exact location of tablaos, smaller locales and bares flamencos. Pick the right one for you according to your preferences and the knowledge of flamenco that you have.

Seville old town (Right-click on the link to download this PDF file)
This is the best and most complete map of Seville that you can find. It's great because it indicates the main streets and avenues, the most important sights, monuments and other interesting insights. In addition, it also shows you the location of practical landmarks such as hospitals, parkings, post offices and police stations... It's a bit hard to read when you print it out but you can still zoom in as much as you want on your screen.
Bike paths and stations (Right-click on the link to download this PDF file)
If you plan to visit the city on a bike, the City Hall provides a helpful map that indicates all the bike paths and stations that are scattered all over Seville. Actually, Sevici is one of the best services of Seville. Renting a bike is, in my opinion, a very cool way to discover Sevilla apart from my favorite one of course: walking!
Metro Sevilla (Right-click on the link to download this PDF file)
Source: Sevilla21
This map shows you the Metro Sevilla (Seville's subway) map. As you can see, the current Line 1 is shown in red. And you can also see how the future lines (2, 3 and 4) will look. All of them are still under construction and are expected to be inaugurated in a few years' time.
Santa Justa train station (Right-click on the link to download this PDF file)
In this file you'll find four maps. The first one shows how the Seville's train station is located within the city. The second one shows its location in a street map. And the third and fourth one are maps of the station itself.
Sevirama bus and City Sightseeing Bus (Right-click on the link to download this PDF file)
Here is the map of Seville that you can also find in each of the Sevirama and City Sightseeing brochures. Both companies operate circuits on an open top tour bus around Seville. In each of the maps you can see the routes and all the stops allowing you to plan where you want to stop depending on what monument or attraction you want to spend more time visiting.
Recinto Ferial (Right-click on the link to download this PDF file)
This is the most complete map (and practically the only one) that you'll find online. It shows you some interesting information: the street names, the paseo de caballos main circuit and the location of the public casetas. Print it or have a look at it before heading to the Feria. The Recinto Ferial is a small city on its own!
